Dr. Helene Tepper comes to us with over 25 years of physical therapy experience in diverse settings that include hospital-based acute care and trauma, sub-acute and long-term care facilities, and assisted living facilities.
Her broad clinical experiences has led her to develop knowledge and expertise in the aging process. She has developed a deep appreciation for the challenges we all face as our bodies change over time. She became committed to enhancing quality of life as we overcome those challenges. It is this commitment that lead her to treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
Helene is a frequent lecturer and trainer to physicians, rehabilitation medicine teams, and physical therapists. She contributes to her specialty by accepting opportunities to train physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to utilize and integrate evidence-based clinical strategies into their practice. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Section on Women’s Health and Geriatric Section, and is currently in the process of attaining her CAPP-Pelvic Certification through APTA. When Helene is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and her very fun-loving, cuddly canine.
